This is Hormel , a promo film circa 1964-1965. I doubt that anything like this would be made today. If you don’t want to know how the sausage is made avoid this film.

I just love the campy narration and jazzy background music in these old films...

We’ve had many programmes here in the U.K. on food manufacturing from documentaries on slaughter house to making crisps, programmes where they take four or so members of the public and they go through the same and they say what they thought it would be like, how it actually is, what they have learned, has their views changed on meat and how the animals are slaughtered, meat harvested, how the meat is treated and handled(ie not just slung around, no left unattended in a non suitable area), etc...

It’s good to educate people on what they eat and how it’s got from the farm to the table.
